The Bill Kennedy Collection of Decoy woodcarvings: Pintail. 18W X 7.5H. Solid wood. Gift boxed. Each bird comes with burned in signature and a Big Sky Carvers medallion. This collection uses a special paint technique that is used by the artist called "rottenstone". Each bird is hand painted and then a spray finish is applied. Once dry, the decoy is rubbed down with a cotton cloth and rottenstone which is a fine powdered rock, similar to pumice. The result is a warm antique vintage look and feel.
